The mission of the Sierra High School Staff is to increase student achievement through the analysis of student data and the assessment of our instructional practices. We will work collaboratively with our community to assist in creating self-directed learners.

HSD2 Offers an One-Time Matching Scholarship to 2015 Graduating Seniors

HSD2 will match up to $2,500 per student. Scholarships may be used toward tuition, student fees, books, and room and board for any accredited community college, university or trade/technical school. A student awarded a full-ride scholarship from another scholarship entity does not qualify, as their costs will be fully covered. Full-ride scholarships are defined as those scholarships covering the cost of tuition, room and board.

Applications are accepted for current graduates only. Students who choice into Harrison School District 2 during their senior year after October 1st do not qualify. Payment of scholarships will be made directly to the school the graduate will attend in the fall of 2015.

The following actions or items are required for a student to be considered for the matching scholarship awards:

  1. Submission of a completed application by July 15, 2015.
  2. Acceptance and Enrollment in a post-secondary college, university or nationally accreditedtrade/technical school.
  3. Proof of the scholarship to be matched. (Pell Grants and Student Loans are not consideredScholarships.)

Assistant Principal Angela Prochnow Named Colorado Assistant Principal of the Year for Secondary Schools

Angela Prochnow, Assistant Principal of Sierra High School in Harrison School District 2, has been named the 2015 Colorado Assistant Principal of the Year for secondary schools by the Colorado Association of School Executives (CASE) and will represent Colorado in the National Assistant Principal of the Year award program.
